Job Description

Campus Receivables Manager Colorado Mountain College Spring Valley at Glenwood Springs

he position primarily focuses on student account receivables and billing. Duties may include transactions such as receipting and balancing, daily edit and deposit, student account collections, student account refunds, and other related functions. Safeguards funds and arranges transfer of funds to and from the bank. In addition, this position ensures excellent customer service for all constituents in student accounts and for internal as well as external customers.

The Campus Receivables Manager may coordinate activities of others engaged in related student or other financial transactions.

Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position, such as a Bachelor’s Degree and two years related experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Special Skills or abilities directly applicable to the position: knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles; experience with standard Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel. Ability to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, courteous and tactful manner. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate sensitive and/or complex information in a clear and straightforward manner. Ability to maintain confidential information. Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with personnel in various departments. Ability to multi task and complete projects accurately and in a timely manner.

Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to working in a culturally competent environment and the ability to effectively work with students, employees, and community members having diverse backgrounds.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) or conversational language abilities are preferred.
