Under the direction of the Campus Vice President or designee, the Learning Commons Coordinator manages operations of the Learning Commons, offering innovative services in learning resources support, technologically enhanced learning spaces for students, staff, faculty, and community members, tutoring services, and testing. The coordinator has primary responsibility to fulfill the college mission to serve and elevate the economic, social, cultural, and environmental vitality of its beautiful Rocky Mountain region by welcoming all learners through its doors, delivering highly relevant education and training and serving as a trusted partner for strategic collaboration and innovation. This role serves both the public and campus communities, including students, staff, and faculty. The coordinator supervises, assesses, trains, and collaborates with students, faculty, and staff so that they can provide exemplary learning services to enhance student success. Hiring range = $68,828.41 - $76,476.02 annual salary depending upon a combination of education and experience. View/download job description including hiring salary range: Learning Commons Coordinator Pre-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards) Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position. Examples include a Bachelor’s Degree and five years related experience or equivalent education and experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the functions of the position. The ideal candidate will have professional experience in an academic setting as well as experience with learning services such as professional tutoring, peer tutoring, and peer mentorship. The candidate will demonstrate excitement and enthusiasm for the Learning Commons model and have supervisory experience as well as excellent collaboration and communication skills. Special Skills or abilities directly applicable to the position: This position will require exceptional organizational, writing, communication, and managerial skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, working within deadlines and budgets. This flexible and nimble coordinator of learning services and the Learning Commons must professionally represent the College with external constituents; identify and work with volunteers; maintain confidentiality; and effectively work with students, employees, and community members of all backgrounds and positions.
