Job Description

ABOUT YOU

You have successfully completed your college degree by completing a wide variety of software engineering products. You've worked together with teams to complete relevant exercises that have gotten you excited to learn more about mainstream frameworks such as Angular, Knockout, Backbone, Meteor, React, etc. and you are chomping at the bit to learn more. You want to work on an Agile team to develop products that will support business goals and objectives. You are looking for technical coaches that keep up to date and are relevant in all the latest techniques. You're passionate and opinionated about software engineering and you have a strong desire to build real, working apps that surprise and delight your customers.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING

Under general supervision of the Software Engineering Manager, the Graduate Software Engineer is an entry level engineer who performs hands on work assignments at the sprint task level. You will be responsible for completing your individual tasks in a timely fashion to provide complete and correct results. You will work with elite teams of engineer's where you will be able to learn quickly and be part of an excellent product team and process.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design, develop, test, deploy, and support new software solutions and changes to existing software solutions
* Troubleshoot technical issues in a variety of application environments
* Adopts and works toward competence across the technologies used by the team
* Works under supervision
* Owns and completes tasks as active contributor to the team
* Delivers to production

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

* B.S. in computer science or information systems fields required or 5+ years related work experience.
* Experience working with Agile and/or Lean software development approaches.
* Experience translating modern UX designs into pixel perfect user interfaces using Adobe Photoshop, Bootstrap, LESS, CSS, and HTML.
* Broad and deep web application development experience leveraging JavaScript, AngularJS, C#, ASP.NET Web API, relational and NoSQL databases.
