Position Overview:

Develops Continuous Improvement (CI) Tools and platforms to drive transformation within the plant and Beverage Operations. Drives the CI culture and delivers the CI Vision for the function along with the development of the CI Toolbox. Provides expertise and leadership on Lean Manufacturing to all employees at various levels across the organization. Provides support in achieving the plant productivity target and identifying Best Practices opportunities. Works to achieve a sustainable continuous improvement plant culture. Collaborates with regional network in order to communicate benchmarking methodology.

Function Specific Activities:

Develop process improvement initiatives (e.g., supplier business
processes and practices) in order to benefit the KO system and
suppliers by directing supply chain activities, involving external
suppliers, functional peers, account teams and/or cross-functional

Review plant production equipment environment (e.g., technology,
systems, quality, cost, efficiencies, yield) in order to recommend
process improvements.

Implement supply chain programs (e.g., quality service call, water
quality) in order to improve beverage quality and supply chain

Document current state processes and business systems and compare to
benchmarking data and/or best practices in order to identify
performance gaps.

Provide direction, leadership and coaching to members of a project
team you are leading.

Collaborate with suppliers, customers and engineers on product design
in order to facilitate greater production efficiencies and reduce the
number of models/SKUs (e.g., common raw materials, shift customization
steps to later in manufacturing process).

Implement, evaluate and maintain effective application of The
Coca-Cola Quality System in order to ensure product quality as defined
by Company requirements.

Protect all intellectual property, information and technology
surrounding confidential processes and products using established legal
safeguards in order to prevent a breach of trademark security within
the Company.

Make recommendations to management about how to resolve barriers and
obstacles within one's area of accountability.

Education:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience:At least 5 years

Technical Skills:

Process Improvement: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and
coordinate efforts around process improvement. Ability to analyze
business processes and develop systems-based solutions that will
improve current state.

Process Management: Knowledge of process definitions, flow-charting
and process management techniques.

Production Management: Knowledge of the principles of production
management in order to effectively communicate and manage change in a
production environment.

Statistical Process Control: Knowledge and application of statistical
tools and techniques (e.g., X-bar, histograms, CPK calculations and
range charting) used to understand, monitor and control work processes.

KO Processes: Knowledge of KO processes (e.g., fulfillment, settlement
and purchase orders). Knowledge of specific supply chain process design
standards and operating methods (e.g., packaging equipment, service and
installation, order management). Knowledge of the impact,
interdependencies and relationships that each function within the
supply chain has on each of the other functions.
