DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:
Develops Continuous Improvement (CI) Tools and platforms to drive transformation within the plant and Beverage Operations. Drives the CI culture and delivers the CI Vision for the function along with the development of the CI Toolbox. Provides expertise and leadership on Lean Manufacturing to all employees at various levels across the organization. Provides support in achieving the plant productivity target and identifying Best Practices opportunities. Works to achieve a sustainable continuous improvement plant culture. Collaborates with regional network in order to communicate benchmarking methodology. Function Specific Activities:
Develop process improvement initiatives (e.g., supplier business
processes and practices) in order to benefit the KO system and
suppliers by directing supply chain activities, involving external
suppliers, functional peers, account teams and/or cross-functional
Review plant production equipment environment (e.g., technology,
systems, quality, cost, efficiencies, yield) in order to recommend
Implement supply chain programs (e.g., quality service call, water
quality) in order to improve beverage quality and supply chain
Document current state processes and business systems and compare to
benchmarking data and/or best practices in order to identify
Provide direction, leadership and coaching to members of a project
team you are leading.
Collaborate with suppliers, customers and engineers on product design
in order to facilitate greater production efficiencies and reduce the
number of models/SKUs (e.g., common raw materials, shift customization
steps to later in manufacturing process).
Implement, evaluate and maintain effective application of The
Coca-Cola Quality System in order to ensure product quality as defined
by Company requirements.
Protect all intellectual property, information and technology
surrounding confidential processes and products using established legal
safeguards in order to prevent a breach of trademark security within
