DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:
we are seeking a strong public affairs and communications professional to protect the glacéau brand reputation internationally by managing the government/stakeholder relations, issues management as well as the internal communications for glacéau global. position reports to glacéau global public affairs & communications director and works closely with the corporate public affairs & communications (pac) and scientific regulatory affairs (sra) organizations within the coca-cola company. responsibilities include: government/stakeholder management:
work with corporate pac/sra to develop strategy to lobby legislative/regulatory authorities .
manage global stakeholder engagement. create lobbying/outreach best practice/toolkit issues management:
working in close collaboration with the corporate issues management team to manage virtual office, including real-time monitoring of breaking issues, preparation and distribution of messaging and responses to accurately reflect brands salient points.
work with launching glacéau markets to help them anticipate and identify emerging issues and take appropriate action on emerging trends, concerns, or issues likely to affect the brand and its stakeholders
establish strategy and implementation plan to accelerate an integrated digital issues management communications strategy.
manage implementation of successful consumer relations call centers in markets,
prepare q&a, talking points or position statements on all aspects relating to the brand to ensure consistency and accuracy of communications. review and refresh messaging quarterly across all communication channels,
respond to inquiries from or initiate contact with external audiences via personal contact, phone, email, letters in order to manage relationships, clarify company positions and build goodwill.
monitor, coach and share best practices with teams globally. internal communications
+create appropriate communications materials (e.g., speeches, reports, news releases, web sites and other on-line information, video and photography) for all audiences including internal communication such as announcements, and internal reporting requirements include:
+minimum 10 years strong communications/pr experience with global brands
+strong track record working on consumer/health/nutrition-based issue and pr programs.
+strong relationships with global consumer media a plus.
+strong track record working with global stakeholder programs a plus.
+excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Develop and implement communications strategies to support Company's
business objectives with key audiences (e.g., consumers, customers,
investors, bottlers, media, government, community leaders, employees
and other constituents).
Respond to inquiries from or initiate contact with external audiences
via personal contact, phone, email, letters in order to manage
relationships, clarify Company positions and build goodwill.
Arrange interviews for senior executives with media outlets in order
to convey the Company's business strategy and performance.
Prepare Q&A, talking points or position statements to ensure the use
of Company-approved language in communicating with all audiences in
order to maintain consistency and accuracy of communications.
Advise senior management and other functions on the impact their
business decisions have on key constituencies (e.g., media, government,
investors) in order to manage the Company's reputation.
Research and develop story ideas to pitch to the media in order to get
positive media coverage.
Serve as Company's spokesperson to the media or investment community
on issues and announcements in order to manage the Company's
communication and to ensure one voice to the external audiences.
Communicate and leverage the value of Company sponsorships and
activities using publicity in order to build goodwill, cause consumers
and customers to choose Company products, and cause key constituents to
promote or defend Company interests.
Coordinate with global communications teams, bottlers and other
functions to ensure consistency of communications and public affairs
strategies to all key audiences.
Create appropriate communications materials (e.g., speeches,
brochures, reports, news releases, web sites and other on-line
information, video and photography) for all audiences.
