Job Description

Cobra Plastics Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team of professionals in Macedonia, OH.

About Us:

Cobra Plastics is a plastic injection molding company that has been manufacturing quality plastic products since 1973. We manufacture over caps for all aerosol product categories including personal, household, food, paint, automotive and industrial. In addition, we manufacture and assemble a wide array of other custom injection molded products

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Account Manager serves as the single point of contact for an assigned base of established customers. They are responsible for maintaining customer relationships while responding to all customer inquiries, requests and concerns.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain customer relationships as single point of contact, respond to all customer inquiries, requests and concerns
  • Gain a thorough understanding of product line, lead times, details of key accounts
  • Facilitate new product development, obtain customer approvals, assist in custom color matching and artwork development
  • Handling of all Purchase Orders, Order Acknowledgments, Certificates of Conformance
  • Maintain and revise individual price lists, ensure invoicing is correct
  • Work closely with scheduling department to ensure product ship dates are met
  • Organize and expedite the shipment of all finished goods
  • Handle all incoming quality complaints
  • Choose and maintain relationships with various vendors based on quality and cost savings
  • Uncover and follow up on sales leads
  • Assist in meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales goals
  • Complete special projects as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
  • 3+ years' experience in a Sales or Account Management role
  • Experience in a manufacturing related industry a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred, IQMS a plus

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and a team-player
