The Creative marketing team is looking for a Web and Multi-Media Design Intern to join their team in the summer 2020. We are a collaborative team that partners with internal clients to develop and deliver digital, social, multi-media and print creative to support and drive all CNO Financial Group's brands. This internship will support both the digital and multi-media teams to help support our web, email and video content to help grow online content traffic and reputation for our consumer brands. Video and digital work will revolve around insurance products, agent recruiting, incentive and training content and you will be supporting Bankers Life, Washington National and CNO Financial Group brands.

Responsibilities:

* Support both digital and multi-media team in project support.
* Design and develop websites, microsites, landing pages, HTML emails, digital advertising and multi-media videos.
* Create and annotate mockups for proposed projects.
* Execute testing of websites, microsites, landing pages and HTML emails.
* Craft solutions for layout and styling issues across multiple browsers and mobile devices.
* Support and maintain brand standards and tangible branded assets.
* Create an exciting, engaging, user/viewer experience.
* Utilize creative brief to prepare the design.
* Create visual solutions using specialized and latest technologies.
* Brainstorm and mock-up design ideas with cross functional teams.
* Present the framework design/s with description of the idea meant to be communicated.
* Make necessary changes in line with the client's feedback and the project objectives.
* Be flexible to make changes as requested by the client or individual project objectives.
* Proofread and check the quality of the graphic work before final delivery.
* Complete the project successfully through independent as well as team effort
* Participate in requirements elicitation meetings
* Document the requirements using different techniques
* Collaborate with business and development teams
* Participate in and contribute to project status meetings

Key Requirements:

* Pursuing a BA degree in Visual Communication & Design, Graphic Arts or Graphic Design, Computer Programming or Animation or Media Arts preferred
* Student must be entering their Junior or Senior year in college
* Adobe Creative Suite including After Effects
* SalesForce Marketing Cloud or similar Marketing Automation Platform experience
* File management and production skills
* Excellent visual communication skills to present ideas and information in a multimedia context combined with IT and programming skills
* Exceptional creative flair and an innovative approach to all design projects
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* An understanding of the latest trends
* Proven competencies in design and image manipulation software
* Teamwork skills as most projects require input from individuals with different roles
* Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above

This is a paid internship which will be for May through August 2020.
