CME Group is currently looking for a Global Data Licensing Services summer intern.

This candidate will assist the Market Technology and Data Services department on day-to-day activities in support of Derived Data Licensing. This will include data analysis, report generation, and ad-hoc projects.

Principal Accountabilities:
* Analyzes historical trends using statistics and programming languages to provide recommendations on how to increase revenue or reduce costs.
* Collaborates with business to refine projects goals and help solve real business challenges.
* Collaborates with technology for data access and data interpretations.
* Works in team environment to develop models and reports that can be deployed, operationalized and used by the business.
* Designs and implements creative approaches to identifying customer and competitive insights.
* Assists with the production of timely market insight pieces for internal and external distribution.

Skills / Software Requirements:

* Understands basics of dashboards, reporting, and business intelligence systems.
* Reporting and analysis.
* Developing statistics and insights to support performance reporting.
* Bachelors or Master's degree in finance, economics, statistics or related field.
* Experience with Tableau and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong communication skills.
* Organized, self-starter, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments.

* Currently pursuing a BA/BS or Masters/Advanced Degree.
* Preferred majors: Math, Statistic, Finance or Economics.
* 3.0 Minimum GPA required.
