Events and Alumni Relations Coordinator Colorado Mountain College Foundation Glenwood Springs 

Reporting to the Director of Development of the Colorado Mountain College (CMC) Foundation, the Events and Alumni Relations Coordinator supports overall activities and goals designed to advance the college. This employee has the strong ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team while creating and executing a wide range of events and activities targeted to engage and involve our donors, college alumni, faculty/staff and community in meaningful ways.  This highly organized individual is an excellent communicator, thinks strategically, executes tactically, and nimbly juggles myriad projects simultaneously.

The position serves as the primary coordinator for all donor and community events in the Roaring Fork (Aspen to Glenwood) region; and additionally supports events across CMC’s 11-campus footprint in partnership with Regional Development Officers and the President’s Office, inclusive of serving as a lead team member for the college’s annual two-day all-employee gathering (“CMC Day”) and other events as designated.   The Coordinator develops and manages an active Alumni Association designed to engage and grow the more than 160,000 alumni in our database and to strengthen their connection with Colorado Mountain College.  This position additionally serves as the primary liaison for the Foundation’s ArtShare program, charged with the identification and presentation of rotating art exhibits within the ArtShare Gallery, and assists campuses with bringing cultural activities to their students and community.
