Overview

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer for our Indianapolis, IN office.

Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will participate in electrical engineering and design for buildings, manufacturing facilities, water and wastewater plants, airport facilities, and sporting event venues. Systems to be designed include power (critical, life safety, emergency), lighting, data communications, fire alarm, security, and integrated process control systems. This position will interface with clients and other engineering disciplines to ensure the electrical design meets client's requirements and complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and other relevant codes and standards. This position will interface with electricians and contractors during construction to review construction progress and provide solutions to issues from the project site.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited institution is required.
* EIT preferred.
* 0-4 years of electrical systems design experience.
* Good oral and written communication skills.
* Must be proficient in MS Office.
* Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
* Strong ability to work in a team environment.
* Exhibits a willingness to provide assistance to mid and senior level engineers.
