Research & Development

We are located in Pleasanton, California with exciting summer intern positions to offer undergraduate Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Material Science Engineering students during the summer of 2018.

Interns will actively work in a state-of-the-art laboratories and pilot plants! Projects will be fast paced, hands-on, and technically stimulating. Interns will develop communication skills, learn how to optimize the running of experiments, collect data, perform statistical analysis, draw conclusions and make recommendations on next steps.

Recent summer intern projects have included:

* Stress condition study for a package systems in distribution
* New formulation development and formula scale-up of cleaning products
* Test method and fixture development to test new packages
* Non-wovens (wipes) handling and converting for exploratory projects
* Equipment optimization and new process development for salad dressings and sauces

We take pride in providing our interns with meaningful hands-on assignments, where you will learn a great deal about the consumer products industry and have an opportunity to be a leader in the development and/or refinement of our products.


B.S. Chemical Engineering degree, B.S. Material Science Engineering degree or B.S. Mechanical Engineering -- must graduate between December 2019 and August 2020.

Duration of Assignment:

Each assignment is 10 weeks and begins June 10th and will end on August 16th. We respect the work/life balance! A condensed internship assignment will offer a meaningful, hands-on experience and competitive pay while enabling you to still have a vacation.

Special Requirements:

Candidates must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher. Offers of employment are contingent upon proof of the applicant's legal right to work and be employed in the United States as a full time employee after graduation.

Internships may include the following:

* Working in lab with various materials, including dust -- up to 50% of the time
* Sitting in an office environment using a computer up to 50% of the time
* Fine motor skills to prototype samples up to 25% of the time
* Must be able to lift up to 25 to 50lbs up to 25% of the time
* Use analytical skills to drive conclusions -- up to 50% of the time
