Job Description


ClearView is looking for a talented, self-motivated computer technician to help maintain computer and networking systems for its growing team. This position will work with the Sr. Network Administrator to repair, upgrade, and refresh inventory; troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues; and maintain software licenses. Additionally, the right candidate may help build out the local network and the AWS server infrastructure.



High School Diploma or equivalent. Coursework toward a college or trade school degree/certificate is a plus. A+, Network+, Security+, and/or other networking certifications considered a plus.

Required Competencies:

* Experience troubleshooting and installing computer hardware
* Good understanding of Microsoft Operating Systems
* Understanding of networking topologies and technologies
* Familiarity with Windows Active Directory a plus
* Experience with Linux is preferred but not required
* Attention to detail
* Strong analytical thinking with the ability to troubleshoot problems
* Good at communicating with technical and non-technical business associates
* Highly motivated with a good work ethic
* Thorough knowledge of computer systems and IT components
* Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles


* Work closely with the Sr. Network Administrator on day-to-day tasks.
* Troubleshoot desktop hardware and software issues.
* Upgrade hardware and software.
* Manage Windows Active Directory.
* Troubleshoot network and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
* Document changes to systems and networks.
* Maintain inventory documentation.
* Enforce security policies.
* Develop and foster a team atmosphere that exhibits teamwork within the department and with other departments and clients.
* Install PCs, telephone systems, peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure in accordance with department standards.
* Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems, wireless networks and, peripherals with routine maintenance.
* Managing software licensing.
* Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and provide solutions to restore functionality.

14. Offer timely technical support and teach users how to utilize computers correctly.
