Job Description

Deputy Court Clerk Fulltime DUTIES: Perform a variety of clerical duties such as sorting & distributing incoming mail, receiving, receipting, posting a variety of payments & setting up/monitoring time payment agreements. Distribute reports & court-related information to other agencies & departments to support the functions of the Pasco Municipal Court. Prepare case files, record in-court proceedings & findings & schedule court dates in accordance with other data base systems & predefined procedures. REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma/GED & two years of legal clerical experience, or a combination of education, experience & training required to perform the duties of this position. Effective oral/written communication, bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Knowledge of modern office principles, practices & techniques, strong computer software & typing skills. Valid WA DL.
