Grants and Special Agreements Administrator

City Of Foley City Of Foley Employment Notice

The City of Foley is accepting applications for a full-time Grants and Special Agreements Administrator in the Finance Division of General Government. Under limited supervision, oversees the financial administration of federal, state, local and private grants; ensures grant managers accomplish their approved grant initiatives within allowed timeframes, and that the City meets budget compliance and reporting requirements. Reviews and monitors agreements, including but not limited to certain contracts, leases, project user fee arrangements, business-type activity arrangements, purchase and sale agreements, memorandums of understanding, intergovernmental agreements, and other special agreements for the Finance Division. Performs a broad range of assignments and administrative/accounting duties. Reports to the Finance Director/Treasurer.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field supplemented by two to three years of financial experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must have a valid drivers license.

Starting annual salary is $42,013 with excellent benefits including paid health, dental, vision and life insurance, retirement through State of Alabama Retirement Systems, disability income coverage, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. Successful applicant must pass both a drug test and a background check, which includes driving record and criminal background check.
