Executive Assistant$15.91 - $20.60 per hour (Depends on Experience)

Description: 

This position provides executive support to the Mayor; follows up on Mayor's requests; compose proclamations, correspondence and other documentation; represents the Mayor's Office at various public meetings and events when required; develops and oversees various City publications and marketing documents; maintains calendar for the Mayor's Office; oversees resolution of public complaints, administrative issues, and other matters handled by the Mayor's Office. 

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED Associate's degree with emphasis in business administration and computer operations. A college degree in business, marketing, or similar is preferred. Three (3) to five (5) years previous experience and/or training involving office management, administrative/secretarial work, public relations and customer service. Experience working as an assistant to executive level management with responsibilities in public relations and community promotion events is preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the City's insurance carrier.
