Develop and advance Cisco´s Corporate position on relevant compliance topics that significantly impact our product quality and business strategy. Cisco’s Corporate Compliance Group provides state-of-the-art assessment laboratories for multiple disciplines and have been developed to promote the discovery of innovative design and testing processes and techniques.

Within the Corporate Compliance team, our mission is to champion, facilitate and influence worldwide technical standards and product approvals and accelerate global access in a highly demanding market. Role & Responsibilities
In this highly demanding role as a Software/Compliance Engineer you will:
• Gain knowledge and understanding of the standard development and testing procedures for communications software for the desktop, mobile, web, including Cisco products like WebEx, Jabber, Spark, and more.
• Execute product testing in accordance with Cisco Compliance policies and procedures;
• Improve communications software accessible design best practices
• Collaborate with Cisco Engineering product development teams;
• Document results and formulate test reports.

Minimum Qualifications
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and written communications skills;
• Demonstrate good project management abilities and have an aptitude for problem solving;
• Be highly proficient in PC based tools and software.

Desired Skills
• Software development experience; a plus to have relevant experience in the field on software user interface design for usability
• Knowledge of and experience with the quality assurance process.
• Knowledge of accessibility design standards is a plus, such as: W3C WCAG 2.0, WAI-ARIA, Mobile Accessibility (iOS, Android…), Desktop Software (Windows/Mac)
