Job Description

Ultimately responsible for coordinating design development and system integration with engine manufacturers along with systems such as fire extinguishing, engine controls, engine indications, fuel systems, induction, and exhaust. Experience in other aircraft systems disciplines is a plus. Develop and execute FAR Part 23 certification plans.

Education and/or Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
* Entry level to 4 years of experience

Experience in the following is desired:

* Power plant integration and systems detail design and certification.
* Identify, select, and coordinate with component and system suppliers.
* FAR Part 23, Part 25, or Part 33 certification of power plant installations.
* Power plant testing.
* Working in a multi-function team in support of complete advanced design development.
* Performing cost and weight studies for alternative design concepts.
* Supporting the preparation and execution of detailed projects plans.
* Good communication skills on technical issues.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* CAD experience/Pro-Engineer preferred.
