Job Purpose: Provide support to Underwriting staff and management, which includes - but is not limited to assisting in reporting, processing of renewals, special projects, and filing. Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions/Results: - Assist in reporting - running or cross referencing for analysis - Assist in the creation of exhibits for special projects - Assist in processing of renewals business by assisting in analysis or case set-up. - Responsible for the pulling and maintenance of files - Ad hoc requests, for example developing benefit comparisons Developmental Value of Position: - Introduction to global health insurance, and the markets and client companies across the globe that CGHB serves. - Exposure to risk analysis practices in the global marketplace. - Opportunity to contribute to a successful, growing, entrepreneurial global business. - Opportunity to work as part of a fast-paced team, as well as work independently, and help shape the position as it responds to business needs. Hours: Fall semester is part-time, and require at least 20 hours per week, with a minimum of 240 hours over all, spanning 12 weeks. More hours may be worked at the discretion of supervisor and the needs of the business. Internship runs for approximately 12 weeks. Business hours are Monday through Friday, with work hours generally completed by 5:30 pm each day. We are willing to work with the intern to accommodate class schedules as possible, while still maintaining appropriate focus on business needs. Work schedules are arranged with, and approved by CGHB supervisory staff in advance.

Experience/Knowledge Requirements:

* Proficiency with Microsoft office software, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and simultaneously.

* Results oriented, focused, and able to see tasks through to completion. Enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Education and Other Requirements:

* Enrolled and actively pursuing a four year Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management or other similar or related fields of study.
* Mid-year Junior or Senior year undergraduate students only
* Minimum overall grade point average of no less than 2.85 over the most recent two years, and grade point average in major of no less than 3.0.
