The Treasury Intern would learn various aspects of global treasury functions including bank account administration, cash management reporting, cash accounting review and analysis with heavy emphasis related to testing in all the above areas on implementing a new treasury system, as well as our Bank Administration database. They intern may be engaged in some or all of the following functions:

* General data analysis and validations across Treasury platforms and systems
* End to end testing of banking administration system
* System report generation culled from various Treasury databases
* Loading of bank data, bank account instructional letters, bank account agreements into banking database
* Track banking services set-up and delivery expectations
* Create written documentation associated with various existing desktop procedures.
* Cash management reports verification, for forecasting, borrowing & lending, cash flow targets, verifying foreign exchange calculations
* Review cash accounting reports, testing transactions feeds to various ledgers, verifying posting and reconciliation accuracy
* Various treasury production operations functions as assigned

Location: Cigna's office in center city Philadelphia, Pa (Two Liberty Place). Summer housing will not be provided.

The Ideal Candidate will be

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance or related field of study

Strong financial aptitude, analysis skills, and ability to learn quickly and attention to detail

Basic understanding business process workflow, controls, and ability to follow a project plan

Strong working knowledge of Word and Excel (e.g. VLookup, PivotTables, Conditional Formatting, etc.)

Basic knowledge of accounting entries and ability to reconcile data

Ability to learn how to design and/or test reports
