CHS has an exciting opportunity at our Oil Refinery facility in McPherson, Kansas. We are looking for a Drafting / Piping Design Engineer Intern with a focus on CAD/piping design to provide technical support assistance to refinery Engineering Designers and CAD Technicians. You must be detail oriented with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

You will:

* Assist the Design Group on projects utilizing various software, including AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite
* Receive training on BlueCielo document management system, INOVx V-Suite 3D Modeling Software, Cadworx, FlexCAD, Maximo & various other Software.
* Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations

Basic Qualifications: (required)

* Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in a Drafting/Design program
* Able to work 40 hours per week
* Able to wear personal protective equipment, including respirators

Preferred Qualifications: (desired)

* Internship experience in the petrochemical or refining industry
