Degree in Programming, Computer Science, Instructional Technologies, or other related field. M. ED / Educational experience a plus. Equivalent work experience may substitute for the minimum education requirement.

Specific Requirements and Preferences
Prefer 5-10 years experience. Experience in designing and developing inovative e-Learning training modules. Experience in innovative instructional design from front-end analysis through design, development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance.


Required Skills/Knowledge
Demonstrates knowledge of a broad range of hardware and software products; experience working in an agile team environment; ability to analyze and interpret complex processes, identify & understand requirements & develop alternate solutions; Experience designing, developing, testing & deploying applications using proven or emerging technologies in a variety of environments; strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills. A creative, flexible and innovative team player. Design and Development: Articulate, Storyline, photoshop, adobe, HTLM and other authoring training tools; Microsoft Office; Survey Tools; LMS, CMS, CRM: Moodle; Audio, Video: Go-Animate, virtual radio station; Project Management skills; CSS/PHP experience a plus


Functional Accountabilities

Business Requirements
  1. Assess client needs utilizing a structured process: gathering, analyzing, documenting and managing changes
  2. Analyzes client operations to understand strengths and weaknesses and uncover opportunities for improvement
  3. Writes and communicates business requiremnets and functional specifications for the implementation of client solution
Project Planning
  1. Meet with client to discuss intended objectives and requirement of the E-Learning Instructional Design job
  2. Work with clients to develop story board for project
  3. Create and share developmental estimates and operational requirements to enable accurate planning with realistic timelines
Design
  1. Works closely with client to assure all systems are in line with long-term strategy
  2. Creates technical design specifications
  3. Present finalized ideas and concepts to client
  4. Use innovative ideas to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
Development
  1. Develop and builds solutions to meet requirements
  2. Install and configure solutions
  3. Develop, execute, and document test plan
  4. Code and document test automation, maintain reference files, perform script maintenance and updates
  5. Work collaboratively with graphic designer and client
Deployment
  1. Deploys new modules, upgrades and fixes to the productions environment
  2. Creates release notes and deployment plans
  3. Verify the functionality of component and service and ensure deployment meets client's expectations
Maintenance
  1. Plan and perform ongoing routine application maintenance tasks
  2. Assists in establishing requirements, methods and procedures for routine maintenance
Performance Management, Evaluation & Research
  1. Evaluate existing applications and platforms and provide recommondations for improving performance by conducting gap analysis, identifying feasible alternative solutions, and assisting in the scope of modifications
  2. Evaluate new application packages and tools and perform research on best practice
  3. Keep informed of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Adobe Fireworks, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3D Max, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and Flash
Vendor Management
  1. Work with vendors to resolve problems and develop solutions
  2. Evaluate vendor solutions to ensure compliance with requirements and cost effectiveness
Coaching and Mentoring
  1. Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to team members
  2. Develop reports and presentations for senior leadership as needed
Standards, Policies, & Procedures
  1. Assists in defining quality guidelines and standards
  2. Review modules for quality assurance

Internship Program

The internship program provides the novice nurse with the knowledge base and skill set needed to transition to competence in clinical nursing practice. While providing the needed skills to meet the organization goals and mission, the program provides nurses with the leadership skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The program bridges the gap between undergraduate education and real-life professional nursing practice, delivering state-of-the art pediatric care.

The program is offered to new graduate nurses from an accredited nursing program with a passion for children. All new graduates, with less than one-year acute care experience, are eligible to participate in the program after obtaining licensure.
