Bachelor's Degree

Specific Requirements and Preferences
Accounting, Clinical Trials, or Business Management preferred, but any College Degree with the right experience will be considered.

Required Skills/Knowledge
Very organized, highly detail oriented. Must have administrative ability. Must have strong math skills. Customer service oriented and abililty to communicate well with physicians. Must have knowledge of FDA and HHS clinical trials regulations. Strong work ethic, collaborative and respectful team player and able to work in a fast paced environment.
PeopleSoft, Click, and accounting experience preferred.

Required Licenses and Certifications
CRCP from MAGI preferred. Otherwise, a SOCRA or ACRP certification for clinical trials.

Functional Accountabilities

  1. Create or fill in trackers with great attention to detail.
  2. Enter into Click or other software programs.
  3. Create documents, PowerPoints, and Spreadsheets.
  4. Function as a liaison between CRI Legal, Sponsors, CNHS study teams and CTO.
  5. Write e-mails and call internal and external clients.
  1. Perform accounting tasks such as Journal Entries and Budget increases and decreases.
  2. Work in PeopleSoft to manage studies' financial accounts.
  3. Reconcile accounts.
  4. Create financial statements and reports.
  5. Attend meetings and inform PIs and study teams of their account status.
Clinical Trial Regulatory
  1. Know FDA and HHS CFR; apply it to all submissions to CTO.
  2. Perform MCA (Medicare Coverage Analysis).
  3. Guide and instruct PIs and study teams in regard to ICH GCP and the CFR.
  4. Know HIPAA and apply it.
  5. Provide overal guidance in the conduct of Industry clinical trials.

Internship Program

The internship program provides the novice nurse with the knowledge base and skill set needed to transition to competence in clinical nursing practice. While providing the needed skills to meet the organization goals and mission, the program provides nurses with the leadership skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The program bridges the gap between undergraduate education and real-life professional nursing practice, delivering state-of-the art pediatric care.

The program is offered to new graduate nurses from an accredited nursing program with a passion for children. All new graduates, with less than one-year acute care experience, are eligible to participate in the program after obtaining licensure.
