To provide executive administrative/secretarial support to assigned Vice President.  To proactively support the efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required and five (5) years administrative, secretarial, or business operations experience required.  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated organizational skills, and demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Personal computer skills including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and other Windows-based applications required.  Demonstrated skill at typing 60 error-free words per minute.


Provides executive support to assigned VP.

Maintains calendar, schedules appointments, and otherwise assists assigned leader in managing work schedule.

Responsible for coordinating meetings for assigned leader which includes, but isn’t limited to, reserving meeting rooms, ordering meals, developing agendas, taking minutes, etc..

Assists leader with human resources functions to include coordinating annual performance evaluation process, maintaining departmental human resources files, and processing human resources-related requests (i.e. completing/submitting employee transactions, etc.)

Assists leader with budget preparation/management.

Responsible for handling all correspondence which involves responding to requests/issues on leaders behalf. 

Supervises office/support staff, providing back up assistance as necessary.

Performs other duties as requested.
