Job Description

Overview

The Community Affairs/Chick-fil-A Foundation intern will support our efforts to be known as the most caring brand in America. They will help in our civic and corporate partnerships, as well as staff volunteerism efforts. They will help to activate and tell impactful stories of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The ideal individual will have the heart for CSR, youth and economic empowerment, and enabling positive influence in our communities.

Responsibilities

* Examine and benchmark organizations and impact metrics
* Assist with Chick-fil-A Staff Volunteer events
* Help manage Chick-fil-A Staff volunteer portal updates
* Craft and design stories and communications for internal & external audiences
* Attend Junior Achievement 3DE programming and events
* Assist with the Chick-fil-A Fellows program events
* Assist with maintaining database of grantee and nonprofit partner contacts
* Analyze and report on volunteer and grant data

Minimum Qualifications

* Currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior
* Ability to think creatively and "outside the box"
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Flexible and willing to work in a dynamic, adaptable environment
* Systematic approach to problem-solving
* Good communication skills (written and verbal)
* Proficient in Microsoft Suite
* Demonstrated personal interest in community affairs and corporate social responsibility.
* Proven track record of leadership, including multiple leadership positions held
* Strong time management skills; Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
* Works well in a team environment
* High-level of initiative; self-starter
* Strong follow-through on projects
* Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing environments

Preferred Qualifications

* Course work in or experience with data analytics, impact metrics, database management
