Job Description

Overview

The Benefits Intern is a member of the Benefits and Payroll Services Team within the Financial Services Department. The purpose of our team is to serve as subject matter experts for benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, and post-retirement health benefits. This team is responsible for the day to day oversight of benefit plans. This is a full-time summer internship, working with various members of the Benefits team (Health Insurance and Retirement groups) to assist with benefit communications, survey roll-out, data collection and analysis, and other projects surrounding benefits.

Responsibilities

* Work as a contributing member of the health insurance team on various projects related to Health Insurance, Compliance, and post-retirement benefits.
* Assist with production and scheduling of benefits communications for roll-out.
* Assist with research, data collection, data summarization, and basic analysis of health insurance-related reports and surveys.

Minimum Qualifications

* Current junior or senior returning to school fall 2020, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources
* Minimum GPA: 3.2
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Excellent written and oral skills
