Job Description

Cody Administrator, Full time ($48,936.00) 

We are seeking a competent individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Mondays-Fridays in the Police Department of Cheltenham Township under the direction of the Chief of Police and/or Deputy Chief of Police. Duties include but are not limited to maintaining the CODY Records Management System (RMS), train Officers on the use of the RMS, run arrest reports, review all incident reports for accuracy, compile monthly public safety reports, must be familiar with the FBI Uniform Crime Report (UCR) System and retain statistics for the Police Department annual reports. 

Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a minimum of 2 years experience using the CODY Record Management System, knowledge of the Uniform Crime Reporting Code, experience working in a law enforcement agency, law enforcement training is a plus, type a minimum of 35wpm, working knowledge of Microsoft office, Valid PA Driver’s License, pass a criminal background check, pre-employment physical and finger printing background check and reside in the Township of an approved community.
