Ensuring Chart’s Success…

Provides Installation, Start Up and Service support for oxygen plants and delivery systems which meet or exceed customer expectations.  Works with Production to develop the most cost effective ways to manufacture, assemble and test the non standard tonnage plants and purifier systems.

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Provide System’s Engineering support to the Commercial Division’s product lines.
  • Customer Interface
  • Sales Order review
  • Contract Management
  • Project Plan/Schedule
  • Equipment procurement
  • Project construction
  • Shipping Plan
  • Manuals
  • As-Built Plant Engineering Drawing Packages
  • As-Built Plant Bill of Materials
  • Documentation submittal to customer
  • Projects start-ups
  • Plant Service and Repair
  • Specify equipment and components needed to meet customer specifications.  
  • Provides technical training to Production and Engineering personnel
  • Works with Production to implement engineering changes and improve procedures. 
  • Investigate discrepancies within Engineering or Production and resolve problems. 
  • Responsible for all activities associated with the implementation of an ISO 9000 quality system program.



Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • 3+ years’ experience in Production or Maintenance Engineering environment
  • Ability to create 3-D and 2-D drawings using Pro Engineering and Auto Cad software
  • Proven mechanical and electrical aptitude
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong trouble shooting skills
  • Field installation and equipment start-up experience helpful
  • Willingness to travel. Up to 30% International travel



Your Education Should Be…

  • Minimum a BS degree in Mechanical/Aerospace or Chemical Engineering.



Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

  • ·Personal Computer, calculator, programmable logic controllers

  • Software such as MS word, Excel, AutoCad, Pro Engineer, Microsoft Project etc.
  • Assembly and test equipment such as flow and pressure gauges, O2 analyzer, VOMS,
  • Data acquisition equipment, standard hand tools
