Job Description

Ensuring Chart’s Success…

Chart’s IT systems and process support the company’s overall success through access to quality business data and efficienct process for both users and customers. This role will focus on leading a team to help establish Chart's eCommerce footprint to transact business between Chart and our customers and vendors utilizing methods that include Web portals, EDI, or other methods interfaced to JDE E1. 

 

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

  • Lead Chart’s technical efforts in business to consumer sales and support, including supervising 1-2 direct reports
  • Support JD Edwards E1 modules for sales order and quote management, configure to order processing, shipment processing, purchase order management, and inventory management.
  • Design and deployment of Business to Consumer web portal access and transaction processing for JDE Enterprise One. 
  • Design and management of interfaces between JDE applications and external systems for data collection, forms printing and reporting.
  • Troubleshooting issues and system bugs and providing direction for work-arounds, corrections and enhancements 
  • Supporting project initiatives in the business functional area throughout their lifecycle 
  • Experience working with business managers and power users in order to evaluate current and planned business processes and initiatives. 
  • Application configuration, deployment, and support  
  • Develop global standard processes for business to consumer web portal transaction processing 
  • Develop global standard processes for business to vendor web portal transaction processing 
  • Assist business unit managers and power users with training and process documentation 
  • Ensuring availability and performance of business applications 
  • Coordinate service delivery via active participation in the use and management of the Chart service desk system. 

     

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

  • 7 years of extensive JDE experience using  JDE Enterprise One 9.0 and higher versions, including design, configuration, and user support 
  • Hands-on experience and expertise in the design and use of web based applications for JDE  sales, distribution and purchasing. 
  • eCommerce process design and implementation

 

Your Education Should Be…

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related business field
