Job Description

Ensuring Chart’s Success…

The program manager will lead all aspects on a major product development effort and is responsible for making the overall project a financial success.  The individual will define the product, evaluate technical versus business trade-offs and obtain the resources needed to execute the project.

 

What Your Day-to-Day Activities Will Be…

• Interfacing with customers to determine product specification

• Development of business model to justify the product

• Working with engineering to develop the product to meet customer specifications

• Working with operations to get the product built

 

Your Professional Experience Should Be…

 At least 6 years of experience bringing new products to life in a small to mid-sized company

• Planning and managing of multiple tasks

• Familiarity with 5-Phase or other stage gate product development processes

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and JD Edwards or similar ERP

 

Your Education Should Be…

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing

 

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

Your flexibility to work in both an office and production environment as well as making visits to customer locations
