Job Description

CGI is seeking graduating students interested in careers in the Information Technology field. Our Entry-Level Programmer Analysts typically have a demonstrated interest in information technology and business, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills. Programmer Analysts will be placed on one of our many projects and could be doing a number of different tasks.

What youll need:
A bachelors degree from a 4-year institution by December 2015
Academic background in computer science/engineering, information systems or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content
Solid understanding of configuration management and the SDLC
Working knowledge of script development
Java or C++ programming experience is preferred
A great attitude and hunger for learning
Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills
Ability to work within a team environment
3.0 GPA (strongly preferred)
Ability to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time

What youll do (assignments may include responsibilities in one or more of the following areas):
Test and implement new technologies and applications
Provide user support
Assist technical architects with infrastructure requirement development
Perform project code review
Install and configure software packages
Investigate and debug software errors, troubleshoot application issues
Develop and execute various scripts
Write technical documents
