Responsibilities:

·       Provide technical training to employees at all levels within CenturyLink Global Operations and Shared Services or Technology Services organizations.  Training may target those responsible for Installation, Test and Turn-up, Provisioning, Maintenance and Repair to the Network Infrastructure found in the Central Office or equivalent technology to hardware and software support.

·       Partner with managers and Global Operations to understand the learning needs & expected outcomes from their business areas and engage resources from the team to create solutions.

·       Facilitate classroom, blended and virtual programs in support of current and evolving technologies. Courses delivered will be based on and could grow based on individual’s skills and abilities.

·       Manage learning initiatives around a continuous cycle of analysis, design, project management and logistics, delivery, and evaluation applying the Kirkpatrick 4 levels of evaluation.

·       Assist in the development and upgrade of training Labs and structures that support developed curriculums and facilitate learning by hands on application.

·       May include coaching and supporting employees and supervisors on the job to apply skills and knowledge gained in the classroom.

·       Evaluates effectiveness of training programs through both formal and informal evaluation methods by reviewing team resources: including Level 1Feedback, Facilitation observations, etc. and adjusts training approach as needed.  This may also include making recommendations regarding modifications to the design of the material being provided.

·       Develops a relationship with assigned internal customers to establish ongoing consideration of training effectiveness and efficiency.

·       Identifies, selects, or adapts training courses, tools, and/or training aides to audience.

·       Maintain a positive learning environment and hold students accountable while being in accordance with union contracts and HR policies.

·       Must be willing to be certified and certify others on evolving and new technology and equipment.

Qualifications:

·       Demonstrates effective facilitation and coaching skills

·       Strong attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills

·       Ability and desire to work in a fast paced and constantly changing environment

·       Collaborate effectively with all levels of management within the training organization and the customers we serve

·       3-5 years of progressive professional experience that includes a combination of SONET, Ethernet, TDM, DWDM and COSP installation, provisioning, maintenance, Instructional expertise or CCNA, CCNP certification.

·       Knowledge and experience with operational systems in support of Network. I.e.  WFA, NMA, OTTO, TIRKS, TEMS, LIMS, NTM and Remedy.

·       Ability to travel up to 80%

Preferred:

·       Coaching Experience

·       College degree or relevant experience providing highly technical training

·       Broad knowledge of performance consulting

·       Knowledge and understanding of E-learning environments and programs

·       Knowledge and understanding of Agile methodologies, LEAN, SCRUM, Information technology.
