Schedule: This is a Per Requested Need (PRN) or ‘as needed’ position and there are not a guaranteed number of hours offered each week. Will include night and weekend call. This position is not benefits eligible.



 



Shift: Variable


Position Summary



Provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follows standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists. Acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.



 



Minimum Education Requirements



High School Diploma or GED



Associate's degree strongly preferred



Bachelor's degree preferred



 



Minimum Experience Requirements



One year imaging experience strongly preferred



 



License/Certifications



Current DORA Registration with the State of Colorado



For entities with shortages of qualified personnel, must be obtained within 24 months of hire; otherwise is required Registered Technologist, Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology - R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT)



Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association



Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) , preferred



 



Physical Requirements



Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
