Job Description

Operation & Maintenance Area Manager

Central Utah Water Conservancy District seeks qualified applicants for the above position. Essential duties include overseeing the management, accounting & delivery of water through the CUP & District facilities by coordinating operations with regulating agencies, river commissioners & system users, attending various meetings, with other water users discussing water system operations & deliveries, supervising & performing water accounting & maintenance of equipment & facilities coordinating w/ staff, contractors & consultants, monitoring financial status of area operations & supervising area operations using SCADA system, & supervising 2 or more staff in operations oversight.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in related field + 5 years experience related to job tasks, or equivalent combination of education & experience. Grade IV Distribution Certification must be obtained within 2 years of hire date.

Hiring Range: $68,300 - $90,000 (Salary depends on experience) + excellent group health & retirement benefits.
