Centennial MedicalCenter is currentlylooking for an Accounting Assistant (Full-Time).

Job Summary

The Accounting Assistant will provide clerical duties andsupport functions for the Accounting department andis responsible for the effective operations of the department including:

* Manages the local AccountsPayable functions of the facility and works with departments/Supply Chain toensure vendors are paid timely.
* Maintain Lawson ApprovalMatrix by ensuring updates are presented to the CFO timely when there isapprover turnover.
* Assist Referral SourceCheck Requests
* Assist with capital asset accounting.
* Assists with datacollection and report creation for facility customers.
* Assistswith month end close and reconciliation processes.
* Assist with internal control andSarbanes-Oxley reviews.
* Demonstrates knowledge andexpertise in computerized systems to include Microsoft Office products.
* Conductsperiodic review of documents to ensure compliance with document managementprocess.
* Participatesin coordinating hospital, community, and leadership functions.
* Promotes activities foremployee, physician, and patient satisfaction through effective communication.
* Completesdata entry for assigned areas/tasks.
* Assistsin performance improvement reports and special projects.
* Assistswith training, special events/projects, employee relations and other duties asassigned.
* Supports the facility's Standards ofPerformance and ICARE values
* Manage departmental supplies
* College degree is preferred.
* Five years of progressive clerical and/or administrative experience.
* Excellent communication skills to successfully interact with internal and external customers.
