Job Description

Celerion in Lincoln, NE is seeking an intern to join us this summer working in our Bioanalytical division. This role will work with design and development of a method for the measurement of biomarkers.

Essential Functions:

* Perform feasibility experiments for biomarker assays
* Work on projects of diverse scope and disease areas
* Contribute to publications and presentations
* Process/extract samples both manually and using automation
* Prepare solutions/reagents
* Record and document test data in notebooks/binders/electronic notebooks
* Proficient use of computer programs to perform daily functions
* Meet or exceed Celerion output standards (including timelines and quality)
* Perform other various assigned tasks
* Effective time management and organization skills

Knowledge/Skills/Education/Licenses*:

* Majoring in Biochemistry, Chemistry or Biology
* Previous lab course experience or previous lab internship
* Proficiency with computers.
* Excellent oral and written skills.
* Ability to work an occasional weekend, as needed.
* Ability to work on multiple projects at a time in an efficient manner
