Cedars-Sinai has launched an exciting, challenging and rewarding program that offers didactic and preceptored experience as we equip you to fulfill your role as a Registered Nurse in our RN New Grad Residency Program. Cedars-Sinai is proud to offer the new graduate nurse an opportunity and we re committed to providing you with the educational background and support a new graduate needs to be successful.
You ll receive stimulating exposure to various clinical experiences on medical and surgical units.
Using technology, the program will expand the nurses opportunities for hands-on clinical practice.
Strong peer support, education opportunities, and one-to-one collaboration with an experienced preceptor.
2013 RN New Grad Residency Start Dates
New nurse graduates who are hired into the residency program must have a current California Registered Nurse license prior to starting the program. In addition, must be committed to completing the eighteen (18) month program. Following are the start dates for the RN New Grad Residency Program and correlating application dates.
We will be posting separately for each Cohort. Please apply as appropriate insuring you will have your California Registered Nurse license prior to the anticipated program start.
-Cohort #1: June 17, 2013 application date March 18, 2013
-Cohort #2: July 22, 2013 application date April 29, 2013
License needed by June, 1, 2013
-Cohort #3: August 19, 2013 - application date May 28, 2013
Licensed needed by July 1, 2013
-Cohort #4: September 30, 2013 application date July 24, 2013
License needed by August 15, 2013
Applications for the RN New Grad Residency Program will be accepted until the first two-hundred fifty (250) applicants apply.
