The Triage Registered Nurse under the direction of the service line manager provides a number of services to the outpatient IBD patient population.

The Nurse will:

* Communicate primarily remote via email and telephonically with patients.
* Using clinical judgment and reviewing patients' charts respond to patient questions and concerns.
* Obtain prior authorizations
* Attend weekly IBD clinic

Educational Requirements:

* BSN preferred

License/Certification Requirements:

* California State RN License
* American Heart Association, BLS


* Nationally recognized Specialty Certification preferred

* Three years acute M/S experience preferred, GI experience a plus.
