The CDK Global Agency Dev Team has an opening for a highly motivated full stack developer. We're looking for someone who can handle a variety projects. The right candidate will be detail-oriented and will take care and pride in their work, knowing what they do affects thousands of car dealerships across the country and the OEMs whose products they sell.

This job requires strong communication skills (interpersonal, written and spoken), creative imagination, technical chops, and an ability to roll with and contribute to a disciplined-but-entrepreneurial work environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Mange work on multiple projects of various levels of complexity, length and scope
* Create and maintain front end Responsive solutions using CSS and LESS
* Identify, propose and develop projects and tools that benefit the Agency, with an eye toward creating efficiencies and automation in existing processes and tools
* Assess the technical feasibility of proposed projects, with an eye toward making them scalable
* Estimate the time and technologies needed to complete development phase of projects
* Work independently and with a team of fellow devs
* Communicate with internal customers on projects and incorporate feedback
* Develop high-quality code following established development processes
* Mentor junior developers and provide insights and recommendations to the team on technologies and best practices
* Keep abreast of the latest developments in Internet technologies
* Own and maintain existing and to-be-developed products


* A college degree or equivalent experience
* 2+ years of experience in a software development environment, interactive agency, design firm or Web-publishing environment
* Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal)
* Advanced proficiency with hand-coding HTML/CSS and JavaScript (including libraries) and front-end best practices
* Experience with LESS or SASS
* Photoshop proficiency is a strong plus
* Experience of working in a structured development environment with build and configuration management tools
* Detail-oriented and able to work independently on both short-term tasks and long-term projects
* Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Demonstrate time management and completion of projects to a definite deadline
* Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and demonstrate problem solving and resourcefulness
* Familiarity with UX/UI concepts
* Should be comfortable with Responsive Web Design concepts and implementation
* Should be familiar with Test Driven Development
* Loves working with GIT
