As our Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our customer base and achieving growth projections in the K-12, Higher Education, Healthcare, Industrial, and Government markets in an assigned territory.

Areas of Responsibility include:

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts.
  • Develop new projects, make sales presentations; quote and bid projects as well as negotiate installation contracts and follow-up service requirements.
  • Educate customers about the impact building automation systems have on comfort, productivity, energy consumption, operational costs, building life and equipment life.
  • Coordinate events including meetings, training sessions, user group meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
  • Effectively communicate customer needs with all internal departments.
  • Stay abreast of changes in industry standards and technology advancements by actively participating in associations and networking groups specific to CCG's markets and goals.


  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of proven field sales experience and at least three (3) years successfully selling HVAC or building automation system industry.
  • Must also possess excellent analytical skills as you look for ways to increase sales performance outside of current revenue streams.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, walk, sit and use hands to operate computer keyboard and telephone.
  • The employee is sometimes required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel or crouch; crawl.
  • The employee will be required to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Be able to use small hand and power tools.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance visions, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
