Westinghouse is seeking a self-starting and enthusiastic Marketing Intern to support the Pittsburgh-based team throughout the Fall 2019 semester. This individual will report directly to the VP of Marketing of the Westinghouse Brand and will have a hands-on role in the day-to-day marketing operations supporting the growing portfolio of Westinghouse trademarked brands. This is a part-time intern position with the possibility of developing into a full-time role.

What you'll do:

* Assist in social media content creation and community management

* Oversee asset library

* Project manage and maintain close communication with internal and external licensing partners

* Help build presentations

* Assist in the coordination of various trade shows and the Westinghouse Licensing Summit

* Edit and proofread marketing materials

* Maintain contact list data base

* Create newsletter content

* Manage newsletter electronic distribution

* Research various topics such as competitive product data and trends

* Review marketing metrics and provide a summary report

* Help the team whenever necessary and other duties as assigned



* Enrolled at an accredited college or university through December 2019

* Passion or interest in marketing

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn

* Highly organized with strong attention to detail

* Ability to self-motivate and multitask

* Proficient in Powerpoint

* Aptitude for technology and learning new systems

* Excellent copy-editing skills
