DESCRIPTION:

Our team is uniquely situated to touch many parts of CBSi business. With that opportunity comes a lot of avenues and work to focus on. Not only will our intern have the chance to see how many different sites within CBSi function, they'll also get immediate, hands-on experience and see their work come to life.

Someone who can create and get clicks to super engaging content-short video for our sites and social handles-will excel in this role.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and execute short creative videos, for a variety of sites and projects across CBSi


* Write and produce short, social-focused video content - from concept, to script, to editing, to output


* Source assets from pop culture sources, rather than shooting original footage


* Produce different versions of the same video for multiple platforms - Instagram, YouTube, Facebook - and understand what works best on each


* Produce graphics, GIFs and memes for use on social and YouTube platforms


* From script and storyboard to posting and promoting, producing content that supports daily and tentpole initiatives


* Research and produce content across a variety of topics, including Entertainment, Tech, Food, Sports, News and Gaming



Logistics:

* Time commitment: full-time, 40 hours per week during our regular office hours (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm) but times may vary per team


* This is a paid internship and can also be for university credit if it meets your university's guidelines



QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

* Must have a passion for digital media.


* Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Premiere (or other video editing software) a must


* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills


* Must be fluent in popular social media platforms


* Must have strong organizational and time management skills; attendance and punctuality is a must


* Must have proficiency in MS Office and Google suite



Preferred:

* Prior experience in a professional environment preferred


* Prior marketing experience


* Experience in managing social fronts such as Snapchat, Instagram and YouTube



Additional Requirements:

* Intern must be a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university


* Must be at least 18 years old
