Job Description

The top multifamily capital markets group is seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist Intern to support its real estate finance team in Century City.

Despite being under the umbrella of a large corporation, our team of 9 is a small, entrepreneurial group that competes for business with clients across the country. We are looking for someone who can grow with us over the long term and assist in taking our marketing performance to the next level.

This position allows for the ability to be creative in growing our marketing presence through a variety of channels and tactics. We are open to new ideas and new methods. We are looking for a smart, personable, detailed-oriented person who takes the initiative to get things done. Our clients are apartment owners, so an interest in real estate is preferred, but not required. Helpful skills include InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Logo/Vector Design, copy writing, so that we can quickly create content.

Job Responsibilities include:

Working with the Marketing Specialist to produce marketing content. This includes

Email Campaigns - coordinate email campaigns from the MailChimp platform. Our team sends out approximately 200 emails per year and each requires design, approvals, and scheduling. Performance metrics will include consistently increasing the open rate and size of the email lists.

Press Releases - coordinate with CBRE PR team to write, approve and distribute press releases to promote.

Client Gifts - we send clients gifts after each loan closing. The gifts are sent timely and are personal, thoughtful items. The marketing specialist will be responsible for distributing gifts, tracking personal preferences and gift history.

Social Media - oversee content posting for social media accounts.

Website Management - responsible for updating content on two separate websites.

Event Planning - we host creative events for our clients and we rely on the marketing specialist to develop ideas and plan the event from start to finish.

Administrative - the main administrative duties include keeping track of expenses spent and corresponding reimbursements. Additionally, there are occasional travel, reservation, payment, and meeting scheduling tasks that may be requested.


Mac skills a plus! InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Logo/Vector Design, etc.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, and Word)

Current college student enrolled in a 4-year degree program

Ability to multi task and handle demanding, high pressure environments

Strong organizational skills and detail orientation

Strong grammar and punctuation skills, with ability to proofread documents efficiently
