Job Description

We're looking for software engineering interns to help our teams expand their existing platforms, and develop new features and products. This 10-12 week internship program will be based in our Dallas office.

Our small, fast-paced teams are responsible for creating innovative software that enhances the experiences of both our internal and external clients. As part of CBRE's Digital & Tech organization, you'll be able to learn from the most brilliant software engineers and designers while tackling tough problems that will drive our technology forward.

Some problems we work on are:

Building cloud native platforms utilizing open source technologies

Creating mobile and web applications to provide real-estate services to our internal and external clients

Developing & enhancing micro-services frameworks

Containerizing applications to deploy them in the cloud

Implement Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment solutions

Managing full client-side applications with Angular/Typescript/React

Creating services in Python, Java, Go Lang

Improving capabilities of applications and API layers

Designing and implementing new features/applications based on industry standards

Identifying and addressing bugs, enhancements, and needed refactoring

What we're looking for:

Currently pursuing a BS or master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field

Minimum 3.0 undergraduate GPA

Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, Go Lang, Java

Strong problem solving and communication skills

Self-motivated and curious

A desire to work in a super friendly, collaborative, and transparent work environment

* Candidates who have recently completed a coding bootcamp post college are also welcome to apply.*

Bonus points for:

Knowledge of NodeJS, Django, Go Lang, or other JavaScript/Python frameworks

A strong grasp of data structures and algorithms

A solid understanding of Git, or a similar version control system

Experience with open-source technologies
