Caterpillar is looking for a dynamic people manager who has a passion for Early Talent Acquisition, knows the many early attraction recruiting channels, including university relations and isn't afraid to capture. This position is located in Peoria, IL.

The Manager, Early Talent Recruiting (US) is responsible for leading college recruiting efforts for our US student programs. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of motivating and managing a high performance, campus recruiting teams (technical and non-technical entry level and intern/co-op talent), delivering superior results. They will also be accustomed to using data and metrics to make impactful business decisions as a true collaborative team member.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills as they create and foster relationships with University partners, associations and conferences to build our talent pipelines. An in depth understanding of strategic campus hiring processes, high volume recruiting, compliance, large scale recruiting management, event management and key recruiting metrics is essential. In this impactful role, you will report directly to the Global Early Talent Leader.



Basic Qualifications - the things that make you really qualified!

* Bachelor's Degree
* Minimum of 5-7 years Talent Acquisition experience with university/college recruiting experience
* Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/leadership capacity
* Experience with project management
* Analytical experience with building meaningful recruiting metrics and dashboards for post-program impact
* Previous experience using an ATS is essential
* Direct practice actively managing candidate pipelines using candidate management software (CRM) such as Talemetry
* Required travel up to 25% especially during peak recruiting seasons for campus and experienced recruiting events

* Master's Degree
* Experience leading a recruitment team and building and executing scalable, high volume recruitment strategies
* Experience with budget management
* Proficient with organizational, critical thinking and listening skills
* A constant curiosity, with a keen eye on changing trends and the desire to incorporate new and innovative recruiting ideas
* Experience building a talent pipeline in multiple functional areas including digital, engineering, accounting and finance, supply chain, and manufacturing operations
