Job Description


Catapult Learning is currently seeking a Mental Health Therapist to provide individual & group therapy, crisis intervention, and emotional and behavior support to students in a special education program.


Duties include (but are not limited to):

* Assist in the creation and implementation of behavioral interventions in the classroom.
* Monthly telephone contact with caregivers.
* Coordinate treatment with educators, mental health specialists, social workers, psychiatrists, caregivers and other support persons.
* Updated Individual Education Plans (IEP) as well as Participating in IEP meetings and treatment team meetings.
* Case management & session notes
* Clinical issues treated include: severe trauma, abuse/neglect, suicidality, depression/anxiety, ADHD, intellectual deficiencies, substance abuse.


Candidates should hold a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or Social Work. Registered Intern or ASW preferred.
