Utilize software development and project management skills & tools to support development of Cascade Microtech's software products.
Work directly with software management to support software developers in all phases of software development. Work closely with application engineers and marketing personnel in project management role. Perform rapid prototyping and document user interface and user workflows. Write, integrate and informally test software.
- Software project management and associated metrics - Software development all phases of the product life cycle - Software maintenance and support.
- 8 or more years work experience developing software applications to control instrumentation. - 4 or more years work experience managing software projects, certification (i.e CPM or PMP) is a plus. - BS in CENG, EE or EET (with programming background), CS degree or equivalent. - Electronics background is a plus.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Software Project Management experience required - Expertise in developing software in Visual C++, C#.net, WinForms is required. - Expertise in developing software in Windows Embedded OS for highly automated real time systems is desired. - Skill with MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office tools. - Excellent team and interpersonal skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Ability to maneuver in tight areas.
Combination of office and manufacturing settings.
TRAVEL- Up to 15% travel
