Catering/Events Manager Seeking experienced Catering/Events Manager with 3-years of hospitality experience, who possess strong organizational skills and attention to details, excellent communication skills (verbal and written); be able to work independently; and have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint).

Catering/Events Manager Responsibilities:

  • Development, production and delivery of projects from proposal right up to delivery.
  • Delivering events on time, within budget, that meet (and hopefully exceed)expectations.
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Communicating, maintaining and developing client relationships
  • Managing supplier relationships
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
  • Providing leadership, motivation, direction and support to your team
  • Travelling to on site inspections and project managing events
  • Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery

Administrative Assistant Seeking part-time admin assistant. Must excellent communication skills (verbal and written); must have strong organizational skills and attention to details. Experience with office work, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint) required.

Administrative Assistant Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures
  • Order office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
  • Maintain contact lists
  • Book travel arrangements
  • Submit and reconcile expense reports
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants to handle requests and queries from senior managers
