Job Description

Support Carilion's hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibility. 

Responsible for process and technical improvements related to various applications.  Continually completes special projects and initiatives, and supporting operations.  Projects include travel to Carilion community hospitals and affiliates outside of the Roanoke area.  Performs complex analysis associated with cost control, inventory management, item master maintenance, and data integrity. Uses advanced technology skills in Lawson, Microsoft Office Suite, and various cloud based programs to manipulate large amounts of data, maintain automated inventories, and support clinical departments.

Minimum Qualifications Required

Education:  Bachelor's degree in related field or discipline preferred. 

Experience: Minimum of three years of related experience is required.  Healthcare or supply chain preferred.

Licensure, certification, and/or registration:  Maintains application certifications as needed. 

Other Minimum Qualifications: Must be a self-motivated team player with strong organizational and analytical skills.  Must be able to work in a team setting as well as independently.  Must be capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.  Effective oral and written communication, presentation, and problem solving skills required.  Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database applications and software process flows.
