Job Description

Position Summary:

The Clinical Office Coordinator is a key member of the leadership team and reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Provides general management over decisions to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of clinical operations. This position is responsible to lead and direct the work of others and requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Essential Skills & Experience:

High School Diploma required;
FQHC or medical office experience required;
Associates or BS/BA degree preferred;
Previous supervisory experience preferred;
Preferred knowledge of cultural diversity and performance improvement;
Experience with the EPIC or other Electronic Medical Records software preferred.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

Provides leadership and direction to clinical staff to ensure adequate efficient day-to-day support for providers to deliver quality patient care.
Oversees daily functioning of all operational systems in clinic (ie heating, housekeeping, IT).
Ensures implementation and adherence of business policies and procedures for the daily operations of the clinic.
Oversees and controls inventory of both clinical and office/kitchen supplies supporting function of clinic.
In collaboration with leadership, sets daily operational and patient priorities, evaluates daily workflow, and assigns work.
Ensures that duties are carried out according to Care Alliance Health Center policy and procedures.

Builds, promotes, and ensures positive customer relationships at all levels within the clinic.
Supports Medical Director as an administrative assistant concerning scheduling and documentation of meetings
