As an Administrative Assistant based in Los Angeles, CA you will provide administrative support to the Investment Services group responsible for product management and product development for North American Distribution. While supporting three managers, you will demonstrate keen time management skills, resourcefulness and strong multitasking skills. Forward-thinking individuals will excel in this role as they anticipate the daily needs of management and identify opportunities to improve work processes for themselves and the department. This is an exciting opportunity as the role will support an area of Capital Group’s business that represents one of the most attractive and rapidly growing client segments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule complex meetings and events involving participants in multiple locations, compiling meeting agendas, reserving meeting space and arranging all details
  • Interact with internal clients in-person, via phone and email
  • Create and update PowerPoint presentations and proofread documents
  • Manage complex travel arrangements from scheduling to completion of accurate expense reports
  • Support various ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of previous administrative assistant experience in a corporate environment
  • Previous experience supporting multiple senior leaders in a corporate environment
  • Experience with electronic calendaring
  • A desire and demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and leverage opportunities for process improvement
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Outlook calendaring
